“Good job, Mr. Hammond!”

Mr. Hammond came to Prince George Healthcare after a brief hospital stay due to multiple falls at home that resulted in a decline in his overall function. Prior to his falls, Mr. Hammond was independent with all his tasks and mobility.

Mr. Hammond came to Prince George to receive therapy in order to return home safely with the care of his wife and daughter. He began working with physical, occupational, and speech therapy to regain his ability to perform self-care tasks, transfers, return to walking with his walker, and improve his overall memory for medication management at home. After intensive therapy, Mr. Hammond is now able to perform all of his self-care tasks, transfers, and walk using a rolling walker.

We are all delighted to say he is happily returning home with his family.
