Success Story – Nov – Patrick Patterson

by | Dec 29, 2022 | blog

Mr. Patrick Patterson arrived at Prince George Health and Rehab after a fall at home resulting in a left ankle fracture. He was non- weight bearing on his left leg and debilitated due to severe COPD and oxygen dependent. Mr. Patterson was evaluated and treated by physical and occupational therapy to return to independence and discharge home safely.

Mr. Patterson did not need much motivation for therapy, stating he was eager to return home and get back on his feet literally. Since being at Prince George Healthcare Facility, he was able to improve his strength and has learned how to walk using a rolling walker while maintaining his weight bearing protocol. He was able to progress steadily with guidance and education from our facility team.

We are pleased to say Mr. Patterson was able to discharge home safely after completing therapy, he will be truly missed! We will be awaiting to hear about his success with Home Health therapy!
