“Good job, Ms. Maleckar!”

Ms. Maleckar came to Prince George Healthcare after a brief hospital stay due to multiple falls and confusion at home. Over the course of her hospital stay, she was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, aspiration pneumonia-altered diet and thickened liquids.

Ms. Maleckar came to Prince George to receive therapy in order to return home safely. She began working with physical, occupational, and speech therapy in order to improve overall mobility and improving her diet back to regular. Her progress was slow, but with time she was able to regain her ability to walk with guarding, perform daily self-care tasks, and regain the ability to consume all her favorite foods.

We are all delighted to say she is happily returning home with her caregiver.
