“Good job, Mrs. Garcia!!”

Mrs. Garcia came to Prince George Healthcare after a brief hospital stay due to a recent fall with a femur fracture. This resulted in a decline in function and cognition, resulting in her requiring almost total care from caregivers.

 Mrs. Garcia came to Prince George to receive therapy in order to return home safely. She began working with physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy to regain her ability to perform self-care tasks, walk, and overall safety awareness. After intensive therapy, Mrs. Garcia is now able to perform her self-care tasks, transfers and walk using a rolling walker.

We are all delighted to say she is happily returning home with her family and caregivers.
