Success Story
“We are all delighted to
say he is returning home independently. Good job, Mr. Ragati!”
Mr. Ragati came to Prince George Healthcare after a brief hospital stay due to severe sepsis and osteomyelitis on both feet. Over the course of his hospital stay, he underwent a great toe amputation on his right foot and trans-metatarsal amputation on his left foot.
Mr. Ragati came to Prince George to participate in therapy and return home safely. He began working with physical and occupational therapy to regain his ability to walk while maintaining his weight-bearing precautions and his ability to perform self-care tasks.
Following extensive therapeutic services daily, he is now able to walk with a rolling walker independently. He also is able to perform all self-care tasks with independence.
