“Good job, Mr. Holmes!”

Mr. Holmes came to Prince George Healthcare after a brief hospital stay due to a cerebrovascular attack. His stroke resulted in left sided hemiplegia and dysphagia, resulting in him requiring complete and total care from caregivers.

Mr. Holmes came to Prince George to receive therapy in order to return home safely. He began working with physical, occupational, and speech therapy to regain his ability to perform self-care tasks, walk, and swallow safely. After intensive therapy, Mr. Holmes is now able to assist with his transfers using a rolling walker. He has also returned to his normal diet and is able to enjoy his favorite foods!

We are all delighted to say he is happily returning home with his family and caregivers.
